I believe that photography is more than a skill; it is a lifestyle based on adventure. Living in this mindset will encourage exposure to new environments and ideas. A good photograph will be well lit and composed, a great photograph will tell a story, and an outstanding photograph will tear into the very fabric of human emotion. The images we share are mere reminders of the sensation of exploring something new. My most rewarding photographs require effort and risk that no one else is willing to take. True adventure requires neither comfort, nor a plan.

My motto is to surround myself by the people I want to become, and through this I’ve met some of the best people I know. The international theme of my portfolio is largely made possible by the selfless hospitality of friends and acquaintances around the world. Whether providing floor space for a restful night or negotiating my taxicab fare in the local language, their generosity will always be remembered. My interaction with the international community has taught me that the best way to experience a culture is to learn it, embrace it, and above all, respect it.
